I’ve always been fascinated by people, especially how they sound and speak. Observing and interpreting is my favorite part of my job as a dialect coach and voice & speech instructor. From 2011 until 2017, I taught at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the New Studio on Broadway (NSB). Other teaching and coaching highlights include American Conservatory Theater, University of Virginia, Epic Theatre Ensemble, Governor's School of North Carolina, Parenthesis Theater Company, Occam Rep, and the Summer Theater of New Canaan. I have an MFA in acting from American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and a BFA from UC Santa Barbara. I’m a member of Actors Equity (AEA) and Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA).
I grew up in Oklahoma and New Mexico, and now live in Charlottesville, Virginia with my husband and our two small sons. I’m into yoga, feminism, napping... and I bake a killer banana bread. You can see my CV here and my acting resume here. |
